About Playnook Games
Playnook Games is a free collection of 16 browser games across four categories — Puzzle, Strategy, Arcade and Card. Chess vs AI, Sudoku, Checkers, Word Nook, Solitaire, Connect Four, Minesweeper, Bubble Pop, Cosmic Clicker, Neon Dash, Block Puzzle, Snake, 2048, Memory Match, Whack-a-Mole and Tic Tac Toe. How it started
Playnook Games is a one-person project, built and run independently — no studio, no investors, no big team behind it. It started from a simple frustration: most free browser games either feel thrown together to farm ad clicks, or they're locked behind an app install just to play something that should take five seconds to open. The goal was to build the opposite — games worth actually finishing a round of, that open instantly and respect your time.
Built in-house, iterated in public
Every game on this site is built from scratch — no template packs, no licensed or third-party game assets. Features ship based on real feedback: difficulty tiers, hint systems, and drag/tap controls have all been reworked more than once after players pointed out what didn't feel right.
Real difficulty, not just decoration
Most games here have more than one way to play — AI opponents with adjustable difficulty, Expert puzzle modes, timed Blitz rounds, and harder variants like Sudoku pencil-marks or Solitaire's Draw 3. Your best scores, streaks and puzzle times save right on your device.
