Klondike Solitaire - Rules & Tips

This is classic Klondike Solitaire: build the four foundation piles up from Ace to King in suit, while arranging the tableau in descending, alternating colors to free up hidden cards underneath. Play Solitaire online free, right in your browser, with a move counter and Undo so you can experiment without losing a good position.

Choose Draw 1 for the standard, more forgiving mode, or switch to the harder Draw 3 mode if you want a real challenge — in Draw 3 you cycle through the stock three cards at a time and can only play the top card, which makes planning ahead far more important than in Draw 1.

A good habit either way: uncover tableau cards before digging into the stock, and don't rush foundation moves that block a tableau card you'll need later. No download, no sign-up — just shuffle and play.
