How to Play Checkers: Step by Step
- Choose Easy or Hard difficulty to play against the computer, or create a room to play a friend.
- Move one piece diagonally forward to an empty dark square.
- Jump over an opponent's piece to capture it. Captures are mandatory when available.
- If another capture is possible after a jump, you must continue with the same piece.
- Reach the far side of the board to crown a King, which moves and captures in all four diagonal directions.
- Win by capturing all your opponent's pieces or leaving them with no legal move.

- Keep your back row filled early so your opponent cannot easily crown a King.
- Control the center squares. Pieces in the middle have more options.
- Move pieces in pairs so they protect each other from jumps.
